We value the benefits of modern technology in both educational and global social context. Therefore, we have invested heavily in educational technology and take pride that our building is certified by Microsoft as a smart building.
We feel that this commitment to technology gives our students a chance to learn, develop and experience technology that they will use for years to come..
We use smart boards in all classes, and our teachers receive regular trainings on functionality, apps and opportunities for students' engagement. We use smart-enabled course books and materials, allowing students to communicate directly with the board and benefit from another level of audiovisual and kinesthetic activity.
We use technology for all forms of communication, both with parents and colleagues. This allows us to keep better records and also reinforces our commitment to technology in all areas of school life.
For classes above 5th grade, we use tablets and chromebooks rather than hard copy books, with the level of possible interaction for students being greatly raised by the options available with paperless learning. Students have access to audio and video files that are connected to the course, as well as digitally recorded study patterns, progress monitoring and learner journals. All of this can be accessed by parents back home, meaning that they have a closer level of engagement in student learning.
We are committed to embracing technology in every area of the school. As a result, we have designed specific classes to improve technology skills for the purposes of our educational context, but also as general skills that students can take away and use in life.
Our main school, K1-12 targets national and international promising students with a strong focus on multiculturalism. We currently have 35 different nationalities in our classes.
